Putting The Clues Together

Days turned into weeks, and every encounter with the Red Ranger made Antonio admire him more.

His respect for the Red Ranger's skill and bravery grew, and he couldn't help but share his admiration with his old friend, Jayden.

"You should've seen him, Jayden," Antonio would say, oblivious to the fact that he was praising Jayden himself. "The Red Ranger, he's something else."

Jayden would simply smile, nodding along, all the while keeping his secret hidden as he listened to Antonio talk about his admiration for his ranged alter ego.

One day, Antonio approached Jayden with a mischievous grin on his face "want to know a secret? I found out where the Red Ranger lives, and I'm going over there today to finally uncover his secret identity."

Jayden almost choked on his drink, taken aback by Antonio's statement. "Are you okay, Jay?" Antonio asked, concerned.

"Fine, fine. But why do you need to know that, Antonio?" Jayden asked, his mind racing to find a way to dissuade his friend.

"Well, that guy saved my life, didn't he? Plus, he's a hero to us all. I feel like I owe him, at least, a thank you," Antonio responded. "You know, you and him have never been seen together. That's a bit strange, don't you think?"

Jayden shrugged, trying to appear nonchalant. "I guess we just have different schedules. You should just let it be, Antonio. The Red Ranger keeps his identity a secret for a reason."

"Octo said the same thing. He can't even tell me who the Red Ranger is, although I have a feeling he knows," Antonio said, a trace of sadness in his voice.

Jayden glanced at the OctoZord, who was being unusually quiet. "Well, maybe he's just respecting the Red Ranger's wishes."

Antonio nodded, but the determination didn't leave his eyes. "Well, I respect that. But that doesn't mean I can't try to find out, right?"

Jayden sighed, realizing he couldn't talk Antonio out of his mission. "I guess not. Just be careful, Antonio. There are Nighloks out there."

"I'll be fine, Jayden. I have my OctoZord you gave with me," Antonio said confidently before realizing something "wait you gave me the OctoZord.

"Yea what about it?" Jayden asked.

"The red ranger also knew who the Octozord, so how is that possible?" Antonio asked as he tried to think of the clues.

"Uh...t...the red ranger gave me Ocoto there to keep me safe but finding out you would have to move away I wanted you teh zord to remember me by." Jayden said thinking quick on his feet.

"Wait the red ranger gave you Ocoto?" Antonio asked confused.

"Well you see it's a long story but to make it short Ocoto was in trouble of getting hurt by one of those monsters and I managed to save him." Jayden said as Antonio looked at the zord who chirped in agreement "and when the red ranger saw my bravery he let me hold on to Octo so I wouldn't be targeted by them."

"And then you gave me Octo to keep me safe from those monsters." Antonio said as Jayden nodded before he took a sip of his drink "that makes sense and is giving me an idea."

"Antonio nothing risky or stupid I hope." Jayden said as the two laughed before changing their conversation.
