Unexpected Turn

"Ah, the brave little Autobot awakens," she taunted, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I hope you enjoyed your little nap, for your trials have only just begun." Nightmera materialized before him, her form wreathed in an eerie luminescence.

Nightmera's gaze bore into him, her expression betraying a flicker of guilt before she composed herself. "You, dear Gold Sky, are nothing more than bait," she revealed, her tone laced with cruel amusement. "A lure to draw out your precious Storm Blazer. Set hungers for both of you, and I intend to deliver."

Gold Sky's sensors bristled with outrage. "You'll never get your hands on Storm Blazer, Nightmera! I won't let you or your master lay a finger on him!"

Nightmera chuckled darkly, her amusement unfaltering. "Such passion, yet so futile. You are but a pawn in a game far beyond your understanding, little Autobot. Your defiance is as amusing as it is fruitless."

Nighrmeraflipped Gold Sky phone open as she dialed the number before soon phone ringing filled air.

Meanwhile:

"Orion Orion guess what I can do!" Holly shouted running to her friend as Storm Blazer chuckled, his thought momentarily going to his own friend from Equestria they still needed to find.

With a satisfied grin, Storm Blazer replaced the helmet on the dummy and strode towards his friend, his demeanor light despite the day's challenges. His smile faded, however, as his samurizer interrupted the jovial mood with its urgent beeping.

"Gold Sky, any idea when you'll be back?" Storm Blazer queried into the device, only to be answered by an unfamiliar, menacing voice.

"Sorry to disappoint, Storm Blazer."

"Nightmera!" Storm Blazer's tone hardened instantly.

"Ah, you remember me. How sweet." Nightmera's voice was dripping with sarcasm.

"What have you done to Gold Sky?" Storm Blazer demanded, his concern mirrored in Holly's worried expression.

"Oh, nothing... yet. He was with a bot earlier, Sky Warp was it? Let's just say, I showed that overgrown tin can a thing or two." Nightmera's gloating was insufferable, and it fueled Storm Blazer's anger.

"If you've harmed either of them, Nightmera, it'll be your last act," he warned, his eyes blazing with a fury Holly had never seen before.

"Try to find me first, hero," Nightmera's voice crackled with laughter before the line went dead.

"Storm Blazer, we need to trace Sky Warp's location ASAP," Holly urged, her voice steady despite the panic she felt.

Arachnid, the Cybertronian, interjected then. "I have a fix on Sky Warp's location." All eyes turned to her, a glimmer of hope igniting in the tense atmosphere.

Few Moments. Later:

"That's where they're keeping him," he said, determination etching lines on his face.

"We have to rescue our friends," Holly declared, ready to spring into action. Storm Blazer, however, placed a restraining hand on her shoulder.

"No, Holly. It's too risky for you to enter the warehouse. I need you to free Sky Warp. He's our best chance for a quick escape." Holly nodded in agreement before racing off to fulfill her assignment.

Storm Blazer steeled himself and headed towards the warehouse while using his equestrian magic to morph into his red ranger cosplay.

"Gold Sky!" he called out as he entered the dimly lit building.

Nightmera barely glanced at him, an air of smug expectation around her.

But for Gold Sky, Storm Blazer's arrival was a welcome sight, if also a cause for concern.

Storm Blazer's heart clenched at the sight of his friend. Gold Sky's face was marred with bruises, a long scar trailing from his eye down to his cheek. Nightmera's doing, no doubt.

"Nice of you to finally join us, Stormy," Nightmera sneered, her voice echoing in the large space.

"And now that I'm here, it's time for you to pay the price!" Storm Blazer roared.

"Whale mode!" Storm Blazer activated his power mode, rushing headlong into the clones.

With a single swipe of his whale sword, they were all dispatched.

Yet, the sword didn't stop; it was directed at Nightmera. She deflected it, albeit poorly.

The embers hurtled right towards Gold Sky, cutting him down.

"No!" Nightmera screamed, her heart pounding.

"Apologies for the inconvenience!" Gold Sky managed, kicking Nightmera squarely in the chest, who crashed into a wall, releasing him

Swiftly seizing the opportunity, Gold Sky grabbed it and morphed up.

"Thanks for watching my back, mi amigo," Gold Sky sighed, turning to him.

"Always. Now let's finish her off," Storm Blazer asserted. They charged at Nightmera, but she effortlessly flung them back.

"Hold your horses, Ranger's! It's time for my masterstroke!" Nightmera brandished a remote-like device and punched the only button on it.

Electricity surged around Gold Sky. Storm Blazer tried to reach him, but the shocks pushed him back.

Staggering to his feet, he rushed over to check on his friend.

As Storm Blazer reached out, Gold Sky swung at him with his barracuda blade. Storm Blazer managed to block it, his heart sinking.

"Gold Sky, what are you doing?" He asked, his voice betraying his confusion.

He parried blow after blow, but Storm Blazer refused to go on the offensive.

This wasn't the Gold Sky he knew, and he was certain Nightmera had orchestrated this.

"He's doing exactly what I want, Stormy! I control your golden Unicorn boy!" Nightmera bellowed, her laughter echoing ominously.

"So that was your plan, pin Gold Sky and me against each other, knowing it'd shatter us to hurt the other. Then you could effortlessly wipe us out," Storm Blazer deduced, his voice strained.

Gold Sky's relentless attacks were admirable, but now, they were being used against him.

"Your deductive skills impress me, Ranger. Now, choose: Will you destroy your closest ally, or will he destroy you?"
