Dear Mr. Scarbrough

Ms. Saunders,

I am in recent receipt of your letter dated August 18, 2024. Please be advised that I enjoy the beauty of our state and the Copemish area. Further, it is my intention to be a good citizen and a good neighbor. With this in mind, please consider the following:

First off, your information is faulty. My name is DANUTA SAWICKI. I am a "MRS.", not a "MR." Thank you in advance for updating your records and correcting all future correspondence accordingly.

Secondly, you are correct in that my property is gated and posted appropriately. However, I am unaware of any complaints about "harassment"' or for any other reason and therefore cannot respond appropriately to your allegation. Again, as it is my stated goal to be a good neighbor, please forward, in writing, all copies of complaints of "harassment" that you state occurred on the Village Road. Please include the date, time, location and a detailed description of what is claimed to have occurred. Hopefully your documentation will be sufficiently detailed to allow me to address your allegations.

Next, I am at a loss to explain why your office does not have copy of my permit. The copy of my building permit is attached to this correspondence,

Finally, as you should be aware, my property has undergone extreme flooding. I appreciate your efforts to keep the culvert open, as is your responsibility. I do not believe your recent effort will last and request that you maintain vigilance and take all necessary steps to ensure the culvert remains unobstructed.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your errors, allegations and missing permit. I look forward to your detailed reply and welcome keeping an open, honest line of communication.
