Dreams and Distraction

"Hello, Jayden," The child, with an enigmatic smile, greeted him, her tone oddly knowing for someone so young looking at Jayden with piercing eyes

"Hello... do I know you?" Jayden asked, feeling a strange sense of familiarity with the child.

The child's smile widened. "You know me well, Jayden. But some things are better left unspoken."

Confused, Jayden tried to press further. "I don't understand. Who are you?"

In response, the child held out her hand, and a vision unfolded before Jayden's eyes.

He saw himself and Antonio standing side by side, facing off against a formidable foe, Deker, in a fierce battle. The scene shifted, and Jayden felt a surge of pain as Antonio fell.

"ANTONIO!" Jayden shouted as he jolted awake in his bed, his breath coming in short gasps.

As he tried to collect his thoughts, a startled gasp escaped his lips, and Mentor Ji, the wise and kind mentor of the Samurai Rangers, rushed into the room.

"Jayden, what's wrong? Are you alright?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

Jayden quickly composed himself, not wanting to raise any suspicion. "It's nothing, Mentor Ji. Just a bad dream, that's all."

Mentor Ji regarded him with a knowing look but didn't press further. "If you need to talk, I'm here for you, Jayden. Remember that."

Meanwhile:

“Seriously, what’s taking Jayden so long? Did he get lost or something?” Antonio chuckled, trying to lighten the mood.

The Octozord chirped in worry, its mechanical sounds almost carrying a hint of concern.

“Chill, buddy, he’ll be here, maybe Mentor Ji snagged him for some last-minute samurai wisdom-sharing session,” Antonio said with a playful roll of his eyes. “You know how he can be—Mentor Ji, I mean. Sometimes I think he forgets we’re not just warriors but people too.”

He sighed, and the Octozord whistled softly in agreement.

Antonio leaned back, resting against his hands. “But hey, I’m glad I'm here. Jayden needs to know it's okay to lean on someone, to share the load. And I’m more than happy to be that someone.”

"And I'm glad you to have you by my side." Antonio heard an all to familiar voice say and the gold ranger smiled.

"And here I thought you weren't coming," Antonio teased, handing Jayden a spare fishing rod.

Jayden managed a small smile as he sat, accepting the rod. "Wouldn't miss it," he replied, although his voice lacked its usual strength.

As they settled into a comfortable silence, punctuated only by the occasional call of a distant bird, Antonio couldn't shake the feeling that Jayden was holding something back.

Antonio, always one for light-hearted banter, couldn't resist teasing Jayden. "So, Jayden, ready to see who catches the biggest fish today? I hope you're not afraid of a little friendly competition."

Jayden managed a small smile, grateful for the distraction. "You're on, Antonio. But I'll have you know, I've got some serious fishing skills up my sleeve."

After a while, as they sat side by side, enjoying the stillness of the morning, Antonio turned to Jayden.

"Hey, Jayden, come here," he said softly, his eyes searching Jayden's.

In that moment, Jayden felt a surge of longing, and without hesitation, he leaned in to meet Antonio's lips with his own.

The kiss was tender at first, a silent exchange of unspoken emotions.

But as the moment deepened, a rush of warmth and desire enveloped them both.

Just as things began to heat up, Jayden was suddenly overcome by a vivid flashback of his dream.

He saw Antonio falling in battle, felt the sharp pang of pain in his chest, and the image shattered the intimacy of the moment, pulling him away from Antonio as if a force beyond his control had intervened.

"NO!" Jayden shouted stumbling back but losing his balance and falling to the ground.

Startled, Antonio quickly moved to help Jayden up, his eyes filled with concern.

"Jayden, what's wrong? Did I do something to upset you?" he asked, his voice laced with friendly concern.

Struggling to compose himself, Jayden avoided Antonio's gaze, the remnants of the dream still haunting him.

"No, it's not you, Antonio. Don't worry I... I'm fine, just... a dizzy spell, that's all," he stammered, his mind racing to find an excuse.

Antonio's concern deepened, and he gently helped Jayden to his feet. "You don't seem fine, Jayden. Are you sure there's nothing you want to talk about?"

For a moment, Jayden hesitated, torn between the urge to confide in Antonio and the fear of burdening him with his own uncertainties.

"It's really nothing, Antonio. Just a momentary lapse," he insisted, forcing a reassuring smile.

Few Hours Later:

“Oh Jay, you have no idea how good this feels,” Antonio moaned as he nuzzled Jayden’s neck.

Jayden let out a faint moan and clutched at Antonio’s body, thrusting into his lover.

Antonio lay on the bed and looked up into Jayden's eyes, with a hungry look for more but glad to see Jayden was cheering up.

“Do you like it like this? Harder? Slower?” Jayden asked, his saliva dripping against Antonio's neck.

Antonio responded with a resounding, “Y-yes,” as his body tensed and released, riding these waves, Jayden thrust harder, faster and harder.

The intensity of their love making built until eventually, Antonio let out a deep, guttural moan of pleasure as he orgasmed.

Jayden followed shortly after inside Antonio, moans of his own rolling over his tongue.

When it was over, they lay in each other's arms, sweaty and panting from the pleasure they had shared. "Gosh, Jay. Only you make me feel those things."

Jayden let out a slight chuckle, amused at Antonio's antics, his worries melting once more.

“You deserve to have someone give you pleasure like this every night.”
